vDBS: Variant Databaser and Screener

vDBS is an easy-to-use software tool designed to help researchers and clinicians to create database of variants at par with global repositories and annotate variants against the created database to sieve out rare and common variants. It allows users to analyze large datasets without needing programming skills. vDBS can process sequencing information in VCFs to provide a consolidated list of variants in the local cohort along with the incidence. The tool generates simple and intitutive results providing information on the spread of variants in defined demographics. This makes it easier to explore variant data and identify candidate variants, helping advance precision and region specific research.
